VEG PIZZA

This is is very very simple home made veggie pizza,i have used simple ingredients to do this,i made this when my mom,my sis,& her daughter visited to bangkok,it came out very taste,it is very easy to make but making base takes little time thats it next it is super fast you can bake this pizza,with veggies you have @ home,now a days all are using wheat flour for all baking things becaz it is more healthy,but i have not given a try for that,this pizza recipe coarse from bhavanas kitchen some variations i made...

Khara buns or spicy buns are very famous ,usually it is famous by iyengari bakery khara buns,i love very much,after coming to bangkok i missed so many bakery items so i learnt to prepare this @ home,this recipe i got from one if the blog while i was searching about this & immediately i tried it came out very well & tasty i agree it is little time consuming but when finished product comes out ho'you feel proud that you did it. This is avarekalina rotti ,in last post i had posted avarekalina uppittu & avarekalina saru,in this avarekalu you can even make some more dishes,this is from karnataka,usually in this season people love to buy avarekalu & make varieties of dishes,in bangalore in avarekaina season near sajjanrao circle,lalbagh vendors put lots of shops & sell varieties of avarekalu,if you go their it is eye catching scene never miss if you are in bangalore.today i have made rotti using avarekalu...

PUFFED RICE/ MANDAKKI USLI /UPMA

ಮಂಡಕ್ಕಿ / ಕಡಲೆಪುರಿ ಉಸಲಿ / ಉಪ್ಪಿಟ್ಟು / upma ,this is from karnataka,usually this upma is made by the puri or mandakki or puffed rice which we get in davangere & surroundings,i think nowa days you get every were ,you ask shop keeper that to give mandakki puri ( davangere side) ,in b'lore you get in gandhibazar where the shop has different varieties of puffed rice. You can eat this puri like that only or you can have like upma or simple seasoning ( kadlepuri oggarane)) today i made upma or usli ...
LACHA PAROTA OR LAYERED CHAPATHI
This paratha or chapathi is from north india usually we can see many varieties of parathas ,this is very simple & plain paratha,it will be flaky inside....usually laccha paratha is made from maida but now a days all are doing with wheat flour because of health conscious ..even here i have tried with wheat flour...

ವಾಂಗಿಭಾತ್ ,or vangibhath or brinjal rice,this rice is karnataka special,mixture of cooked brinjal with freshly grounded masala powder or vangibhath powder prepared before & stored.this rice is very tasty,many people prepare this in different methods.usually, i was also using stored powder & making vangibhath,but today when I was browsing i got one recipe so i thought i will try this,& i made little varitions & cooked but it came out very well.

HULI AVALAKKI/GOJJUAVALAKKI (instant)
Huli avalakki or gojjuavalakki is from karnataka,( ಗೊಜ್ಜುಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ ) ,it is mixture of spicy,tannginess & sweet,normally we prepare by making hunasehannina gojju ,& then poha is powdered & mixed to it,& that gojju u can also mix for rice ( later i will post hunasehannina gojju recipe) here today i have posted instant gojjuavalakki or huliavalakki recipe...this can be prepared within no time...,my mom used to prepare when we are young,from that i got to know,here it is....
BISIBELEBHATH
Bisibelebhath or ಬಿಸಿಬೇಳೆಭಾತ್ is famous karnataka cusine ,it is mixture if rice,dal ,vegetables & freshly grounded masala. Some people use ready powder to make this dish,in my home no one like ready made powder bisibelebhath so every time i prepare freshly grounded spices & make this dish

AVARE KALINA UPPITTU OR UPMA
ಉಪ್ಪಿಟ್ಟು or upma usually made by medium or bombay rava,may be in everones home will do this recipe this recipe is very easy,my cousin has kept name for upma that is ' lazy women's easy job' ha ha....in upma also u can prepare varieties like vegetable upma,onion upma,etc...here i have made avarekai upma which is my husband's favourite here it is...

HESARU KALINA DOSE OR GREEN GRAM DOSA
Soaking over night
Preparation : 10 minutes
Green gram is very healthy , usually people call it as pesarattu this is from andra pradesh,this was my first try of making this dosa,i had heard it but not prepared,here i have used my own measurements ( i think,because i have not browsed or got to know from any one) it came out perfect & tasty & crispy.

Preparation & cooking ; 35 minutes

This snack is called as bombay bonda or bajji actually, i don't no why they call it like that,& some even call it as vada which is kept in between pav & served i know this is very famous snack in mimbai,street food,people are fond of these snacks.usually as i know nothing special recipe for this inly making potato curry/palya & coated with gramflour & deep fried,some times when we make this curry if their is left over you can try this,i made that only,i had left over aloo curry in evening i prepared this snack . CARROT &PEAS KURMA
One day i was actually thinking what to prepare for break fast,it is really boring for me to decide what to prepare ,and and thought to prepare chapathi,my hubby asked what are you making for break fast today,i told i am thinking i prepare chapathi with any side but my hubby ignored that in abroad also i ate chapathi,roti so please prepare any different thing,but once i make mind to prepare one thing i can't change that is big problem with me so i decided poori & side for it but againsame vegetable sagu bore so when i was searching i got this kurma recipe,& in this recipe i made some varitions of my own,but it came out very well,even my hubby liked it,so here is the recipe.
