BISIBELEBHATH


Bisibelebhath or ಬಿಸಿಬೇಳೆಭಾತ್ is famous karnataka cusine ,it is mixture if rice,dal ,vegetables & freshly grounded masala. Some people use ready powder to make this dish,in my home no one like ready made powder bisibelebhath so every time i prepare freshly grounded spices & make this dish
It is very tasty try to prepare fresh grounded masala for your bisibelebhath,sure you like it..



Ingredients: 


½ cup rice




½ cup toor dal
1 cup cut vegetables ( vegetables of your choice i have put beans,carrot,peas,capsicum etc.,) 
salt to taste
little tamrind juice


for masala powder/ paste

For seasoning:
1 tb sp channa dal2 tbsp ghee
½ tb sp urad dal1 tsp mustard seeds
½ tbsp coriender seeds2-3 broken red chilli
½ tbsp methi seeds2 string curry leaves
½ tbsp khus khus/ gasagaselittle cashew nuts
½ stick cinnamon
12 -15 red chilli (as per yr taste)
1clove
1 cardamom
1/2 cup grated coconut

Fry all ingredients putting 1/2 tsp oil & add coconut & grind into smooth paste


Procedures


Step. 1Cook rice & dal

Step 2Take a pan & put ghee & add mustered seeds,2 broken red chilli,curry leaves & cashew nuts fry till golden brown

Step 3Put grinded paste & stur well add cooked vegitables & live it to boil for few min,stir occasionly,becaz very soon bottom will be burnt.

Step 4Add tamrind juice,salt jaggary and stir well

Step 5Add cooked rice & dal & mix well,if u need little more water u can add.

Step 6 cook for few min & take off from fire.

Step 7Serve with ghee,raita,or any mixture.

Step 8Note: while serving if it becomes thick add little hot water ( pls check salt again)
