MOLAKE BANDA HESARU KALINA UPPITTU/SPROUTED MOONG UPMA

Sprouted moong/hesarukalu is very healthy , surely decide to use monthly once or twice,in this we can make varieties of dishes like kosambari/salad,dosa,etc., here i have tried upma by adding sprouted moong,
it came out very tasty, usually upma is done plain, adding only onion or adding all types of veggies these all were bore for me so i had sprouted moong & i thought why not to try this adding in upma so i tried here the recipe is,

Ingredients
1 cup roasted uppitu rava or medium rava
3/4 cup sprouted hesarukalu/moong( cooked)

Seasoning

Oil 2-3 tbsp
Mustered seeds 1 tsp
Channa dal 1 tsp
Urad dal 1 tsp
Curry leaves a string
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Green chillies 5-6 ( as per spicy)

Other ingredients
Salt as per taste
Sugar little for taste
Lemon juice as required
Ginger crushed 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Coriender leaves for garnishing
Coconut grated 1/3 cup
Water 1:2 ( if require keep ready hot water)

Method
In a pan heat oil, add  seasoning  items given  , then add cooked moong/hesarukalu & mix then add water mentioned & live it to boil, when it starts boiling add salt, sugar, pepper powder & ginger & lemon juice & mix
Then on medium flame mix roasted rava throughly that there is no lumps.
Let it cook for few mins or until rava is cooked then mix it again ( be careful sometimes bottom of pan starts burning)( my mom likes burnt bottom of upma very much)
Remove from fire & add grated coconut & mix lastly, garnish with coriander leaves.

Enjoy hot hot molake banda hesarukalina/sprouted moong uppittu/upma with coconut chutney.

Note;
You can add moong in last also after finishing making uppittu/upma no problem.
Add pepper powder & ginger because moong/hesarukalu produce gas in stomach so,these two avoids that.
