KUTTAVALAKKI



This is one type of poha or ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ ,this is dry in nature,very simple in preparing & you can carry any where like tour or picnic etc,this is like evening snack you can have with coffee or tea.in avalakki we make many different dishes in that this is one...
Ingredients

1 cup poha
Dry red chillies 4-5 (asper spicy)
Salt
Jaggary little 
Dry copra 1/2 cup grated ( onna kobbari pudi)
 Curry leaves 2-3 strings
Tamarind one small lemon size

Method

Firstly powder poha in mixie coarsely & keep aside

Next powder coarsely dry copra & add tamarind & pulse it again that tamrind should mix ( you can heat tamrind on a tava for few minutes) then add dry red chillies & pulse ( even dry red chillies you can heat for few minutes) then add curry leaves & pulse ,then add jaggary & pulse it ( make jaggary powder) lastly,add salt & coarsly grinded poha & grind whole ince that it should look like medium rava texture.

Remove from jar & pour into a bowl & mix in your hand again & check salt & spice again.
If  spiciness is not sufficient you can add little red chilli powder. 

Store in airtight box.

Enjoy with coffee or tea.
