LEMON RASAM OR NIMBE HANNINA SARU



Lemon rasam,this is also called as soup which you can drink or share with rice,this saru is very healthy too,for cold,& when fever is their if you drink this that bitterness of tongue goes & it is healthy for indigestion .etc..


Ingredients

2 cups of water
Small 1/2 lemon
2 slotted green chillies
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt
1tbsp jaggary
Pinch of turmeric powder
1 tsp rasam powder

For tempering
1 tsp ghee
1 tsp mustered seeds
Pinch of hing ( optional)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds ( jeera)
2 dry red chillies

Method

Keep a vessel with ghee & heat then add all ingredients under tempering & saute then add water & live to boil when it starts boiling put rasam powder,& boil few more minutes that the raw smell of the powder goes then add curry leaves,salt,jaggary & live it to boil for few more minutes,
then remove from fire & lastly add lemon juice & garnish with coriander leaves,

Serve hot.
