LACHA PAROTA OR LAYERED CHAPATHI



This paratha or chapathi is from north india usually we can see many varieties of parathas ,this is very simple & plain paratha,it will be flaky inside....usually laccha paratha is made from maida but now a days all are doing with wheat flour because of health conscious ..even here i have tried with wheat flour...
Ingredients

1 cup   Wheat flour
1/4 cup wheat flour dusting ( mix one tsp oil & wheat flour & keep)
Salt
Warm water

Method

As usual make soft dough with adding warm water little by little, & knead it & cover & keep for  1/2 hr to 1 hr.

Then make equal size of balls

Take one ball of dough & roll into thin chapathi &  spread  the mixture of wheat flour & oil & sprinkle some dough & now start folding ( you should fold like Japanese fan) when you finish folding then   try lightly to pull ( don't pull forcibly or tightly) & roll it like spiral or circle & roll with rolling pin not too thin or thick medium thick ,& cook both sides smearing oil   .

Repeat with other dough same.

Serve hot with any curries.
