This halwa is very easy to make in micro wave oven within no time,it is very tasty dish you can easily try @ home...
Ingredients
½ cup corn flour | 1 pinch cardamom powder |
1 ½ cup sugar | 4 - 5 pcs casews / badam finely sliced |
2 cups water | 1 tsp orange or any food color |
1 - 2 tsp ghee MethodStep 1Take a microwave safe bowl & mix cornflour,sugar,& water & mix well & add food colour,,& flvour & mix Step 3Mean while heat ghee & roast cashew or badam & keep ready Step 4Keep stirring in between every 2/3 mins for even cooking
Step 5Before 1or 2 min add cardamom powder ( optional if u r using flavour) & roasted nuts & mix well
Step 7After 10 mins it will form like thick porridge like
Step 8Pour into grease plate & make it even & keep for cool
Step 9Before u cut into pieces it should be very cool ,before u can cut but u cant remove the pieces
from plate,so cooling is important.
Step 10Cut into desired shape & enjoy
Step 11 shelf life is 1-2 days Step 12 do not refrigerate | ½ tsp orange or any flavour ( optional) |
