MOONGDAL TADKA



This is gujrathi dal,made by using moong dal or ಹೆಸರುಬೇಳೆ ,there are varieties of dals ,moong dal is very healthy,& has many nutritious facts,helps in weight loss, & more. This is very simple & tasty ,try this...


Ingredients


½ cup moongdal1 silted green chilli
1 pinch termeric powderfor seasoning:
½ tsp chilli powder1 tbsp ghee
¼ inch ginger grated½ tsp musterd seeds
¼ tsp salt ( as per taste)½ tsp cumin seeds
1 small cut tomato1 string cut curry leaves
2 cups water

Procedures

Step 1Take moong dal in a vessel ,add turmeric,salt,grated gingertomato,,little sugar,silted chilli & two cups of water & keep in cooker & cook for 3-4 whistles or until dal is done.
Step 2Take a pan add ghee when it is hot add mustered seeds,jeera,& curry leaves.
Step 3Add this tadka to moong dal mixture.
Step 4Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Step 5Notes:
Step 61. If water is less u can add little more & boil for few mins
Step 72. If you want more tangy ness you can add little lemon juice.
1 string coriender leaves finely chopped
