ಅವರೆಕಾಳಿನ ಸಾರು
Today i have prepared ಅವರೆಕಾಳಿನ ಸಾರು ,this rasam is very tasty,& from this seeds you can prepare many dishes, every dishes are very tasty....
Ingredients
1/2 cup toor dal
1/2 cup or less avarekalu
Rasam powder 2 tbsp
Salt
Tamrind pulp 2-3 tbsp ( you can adjust)
Jaggary 1 tbsp
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Seasoning
Ghee 1 tbsp
Mustered seeds 1 tsp
Jeera 1 tbsp
Hing pinch
Method
Cook toordal & avarekalu together with water & little ghee & turmeric in cooker until it is cooked.
After dal & avarekalu cooked keep it for boiling & add rasam powder & live to boil unti raw ness goes,next add curry leaves salt,jaggary & tamarind juice & live to boil
Remove from stove &make seasoning & add it to rasam.
Serve with hot rice.

Another method of making avarekalu rasam
Cook dal & avarekalu
Meanwhile in mixie jar grind 1/4 cup grated coconut,rasam powder,& 2 to 3 tbsp cooked avarekalu & grind to smooth paste,
Add to cooked dal & avarekalu other things same to same.
