LADIES FINGER RICE


                                                                  ಬೆಂಡೆಕಾಯಿ ಅನ್ನ

Usually we make common vegetables like beans carrot  bhaingan rices  but ladies finger rice ! One day i was searching for some different rice to make & gone through this,so i thought i try this rice,it came out very well here it is...
Ingredients

1 cup rice
10-12 ladies finger
1 tbsp tamarind pulp
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp jeera powder
Salt 
Sugar
Curry leaves
1 tbsp broken cashews
2-4 red chilli
2 cinnamon
1 tsp channa dal
1 tsp mustered
1 tbsp oil
Coriander leaves
Chilli powder 1/2-1 tsp

Method

Cook rice & keep

In a pan add 1 tbsp oil & fry bendekai or ladies finger until it leaves its stickiness,then add tamarind
pulp & mix add turmeric powder,salt & chilli powder & mix well that ladies finger is coated very well & cook for few minutes.or until cooked ( it should not be too soft)

In another pan add 1 tbsp oil & heat then add mustered seeds,add dry red chilli,curry leaves,channadal,& cashews & cinnamon & fry until they give nice aroma.& turn little brown.

Then add cooked rice & salt ( be careful you have added salt for ladies finger fry) sugar & mix well,then add cooked ladies finger & mix until fully incorporated.

Garnish with coriender leaves & serve.... With any side ...
