ಪೈನ್ ಆಪಲ್ ಸಾರು
This picture is one ladies finger sambae( left) & another pine apple rasam ( right) now i am posting pine apple rasam,this is different rasam than regular one,very tasty & simple....
Ingrediants
Pine apple 2-3 rings
Toordal 1/4 cup
Tomato 1 ( if big) 2 ( if small)
Jeera powder 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp or more
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Salt
Curry leaves
Coriender leaves
Method
Cook dal & keep aside
In three rings cut one pine apple into small peaces & keep
In tomato one you cut into small peaces & keep
Grind other two pineapple into smooth paste adding little water
Make puree of remaining tomato
Then make seasoning,heat Ghee in a vessel & add mustered seeds,jeera,curry leaves & saute
then add cut pineapple & tomato and fry until tender , then add pine apple puree & tomato puree & add little water & keep for boil,add salt,,then add cooked dal & let it boil next add turmeric,jeera powder,& black pepper powder & boil few more minutes.
Remove from fire & garnish with corianderleaves
Serve hot as soup or with rice.
