AKKI ROTTI WITH PADAVALAKAI GOJJU RICE FLOUR ROTTI WITH SNAKEGOURD GOJJU



Preparation time 5-6 minutes
Cooking time: 2 minutes

ಅಕ್ಕಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ or rice flour rotti is dish of karnataka,usually we prepare for break fast,it is very tasty, you can prepare plain or add any vegitables & make vegetable rotti

.here i have prepared addding onions ,& snake gourd gojju or ಪಡವಲ ಕಾಯಿ  ಗೊಜ್ಜು ,it is also very healthy vegetable 


Ingredients for rotti

1 cup rice flour
Salt as per taste
Water as needed for making dough

Tempering

Oil 2 tbsp
Mustered seeds1 tsp
Jeera 1/2 tsp ( optional)
Curry leaves
Onion one medium size chopped finely
Green chillies 3-4 finely chopped

Others

Coriender leaves chopped
Grated coconut 1/4 cup

Method
Heat oil in a pan add all tempering & saute then add onions & fry until golden brown & keep aside

In a bowl take rice flour,add salt & mix then add tempering & grated coconut & coriander leaves & mix throughly & add little by little water & make soft dough not stiff like chapathi dough it should be spreading consistency.  & keep closed for  few minutes.

Take a tava or plate or pan ( non stick pan) brush some oil & make small balls of dough & take one & spread evenly on the tava & cook on medium flame sprinkling some oil & cover & cook unti it turns golden brown in color & crisp,remove from fire 

Serve hot with any side.
