Normally,we make mysore pak using gram flour. This one I tried with fried gram dal, that is also called as hurigadale in kannada.this came to my mind that I had stock of fried gram in my pantry because without knowing I bought two times, if we keep it for more days it will spoil so, thinking what to do so I tried both besan ladoo & mysorepak both.here I followed same as we make regular mysore pak.it came out very well & tasty.
Ingrediants
1 cup of powdered fried gram/ hurigadale
3/4 to 1 cup of sugar ( depends on sweetness)
1/4 cup or little more water for making sugar sirup
Little less or 3/4 cup of melted ghee
METHOD
1. Take a pan & add sugar & water and make 1 string syrup
2. Now add slowly fried gram powdered and mix without lumps
3. Add ghee little by little in between.
4. Keep mixing until it leaves sides ( here be alert about ghee mixing you can see that ghee is enough so stop adding.i want to say that ghee measurement is for count but it may change while mixing)
5.keep a greased plate ready
6. Keep mixing it starts leaving sides & starts to form like dough
7.now take it immediately & pouron greased plate & tap it with spatula & make it even & make impressions of cutting & keep it to cool
8. After it is come to room temperature remove & make pieces.
9 store in airtight container
10. This takes very less time to make & tasty too.
