FOX TAIL MILLET/ NAVANE UPMA


Millets are healthy , it is also healthy for diabetic patients. & also others too, we should replace to millets at least one or two times in a week.here I have made foxtail millet Upma which is very easy & tasty too by adding vegetables. You can use store bought rava.


Ingredients 

1 cup of foxtail millet rava

3 cups of water 

1 cup of mixed vegetables 

Salt

5/6 or as per spice chopped green chilli 

Few curry leaves

Few coriander leaves 

Pinch of sugar

Lemon

Seasoning 

2- tbsp ghee or oil

1/2 tsp mustard seeds 

1/2 tsp jeera

1 tsp chanadal 

1 tsp urad dal 


Method 

Cut vegetables & cook ( you can also cook on stove top) keep ready.

Heat oil in a pan & make seasoning 

Add onion & fry until done

Next add vegetables & mix

Now add 3 cup of water & add other ingredients 

Leave it for boiling 

Then add fix tile millet rava little by little without any lumps 

Cover & cook until done 

Garnish with coriander leaves 

Serve hot.
