LITTLE MILLET IDLI



Little millet is also called as same in kannada,which is healthy . Today i tried making idlies from little millet which came out soft and spongy.

Health benefits;
It is good in iron,protein,fibre and minarals
It helps in losing weight
It is good for diabities
It promotes digestion etc., ( source from google)


Ingrediants;

1&1/2 cup of little millet

1/2 cup of urad dal

1/2 cup of thick poha

1tsp of fenugreek seeds

Salt as per taste


Method;

1. Soak millets seperately for 4 to 5 hrs,soak uraddal and poha and methi seeds for 4 to 5 hrs.

2. Grind urad dal and poha to fine batter and grind millets to very little coarse texture and mix both finely and keep for fermenting overnight.

3. Next day add salt and mix.

4. Grease idli plates and pour the batter and steam for 15 mins or little more if not done.

5. Remove and seve hot with sambar and chutney.
