This is mango season where we can see many varities of mangoes.we not only want to eat but it can is used in cooking too.it is useful from raw to ripe.here we use raw mango to prepare chutneey whic can be used to make mavinkai chitranna,or used in ottu shavige,you can serve with chapathi,roti,dosa ...
Ingrediants:
1 medium raw mango peeled and cut into pieces
Dry or fresh coconut 1/2 cup & little more
4 to 5 red chillies or as per spicy
1/4 tsp of mustered seeds
1/4 tsp of chanadal
Less than 1/4 tsp uraddal
Litttle seseme seeds
Little fenugreek seeds
( fry addding little oil until golden brown)
Salt,jaggary as oer taste ( jaggry little more because it will be tangy )
Method:
Grind into little coarse paste with coconut & mango pieces
Heat oil and add mustered seeds,dry red chilli,curry leaves and fenugreek seeds ( optional) fry and mix with chutney or you can serve without seasoining too.
