KODO MILLET PONGAL






 Ingrediants

1cup of millet wash nicely in water for 2 to 3 times and keep

Little less than 1/4 th cup of moong dal

Salt

Pepper 1/2 tsp

Jeera 1/4 th tsp

Green chilli 1 or 2

Curry leaves

Ginger 1/2 inch or paste

Mustered seeds

Turmeric powder

Ghee 1 tbsp

Pepper powder as per spicy

Lemon

Coriander leaves

Grated coconut

Method

Firstly, heat a pan and fry moongdal until nice aroma.

Secondly,heat a pan and add ghee then add musteredseeds and jeera and fry ,

When it is done add green chillies slitted,then fry,

Now add curry leaves and pepper and fry for few seconds.

Then add moongdal and fry then add millet and pour 2 cups and little morewater and add salt and other ingredients and mix well and close the pan and cook for 2 whistles.

Remove and add coriander leaves and coconut and pepper powder and lemon juice and mix well.

Serve pouring little ghee with any side.
