PANEER KHEER




Paneer or chenna or cottage cheese,kheer or payasa.which is easy to make & very tasty too,i got this recipe from one of the blog & made little changes but it was very tasty where i prepared for a potluck in my cousins house where all liked it.

Ingrediants;

4 cups of full fat milk

200 gms of fresh paneer ( you can make your own paneer at home) i used store bought

4-5 tbsp of sugar you can add little more but here you also use condensed milk too


1/2 to 1 tsp cardamom powder

Rose essence ( i have not used)

Condenced milk as per sweetnes

2-3 tbsp of corn flour for little thick consistency

Saffron threads few dissolved in warm milk

Little chopped nuts

Method;

1. Bring milk for boiling & keep stirring occasionally

2. Grate paneer & keep ready.

3. While milk start boiling ( boil until it reduces little) add sugar,condensed milk,corn flour paste & mix well then add cardamom powder,saffron & chopped nuts & leave it boil for few more minutes.

4. Finally add grated paneer & mix throughly & boil for few seconds,dont boil too much becaz paneer becomes chewy.

5. Remove & cool  to room temperature & chill it in refrigerator & serve.
