Metyada gojju ,fenugreek seeds gravy which is very healthy & easy & tasty too.this can be served with rice,chapathi,rottietc...i got this from one of the blog
Ingrediants;
1 /4 cup fenugreek or mentya
Seasoining;
1 tbbsp of oil
1 tsp of mustered seeds
1/4 tsp to of jeera
Few curry leaves
2 dry red chillies
Salt as per taste
Jaggary for sweetness
For masala;
1/2 to 3/4 cup of grated coconut
1 tbsp of fried gram hurigadale
Little mustered seeds
Lemon size tamrind or as per tanginess
3-4 or more red chilliespinch of turmeric powder
( grind all ingredients to fine paste)
Method;
1. In a vessal heat oil & add seasoining & fry.
2. Next add fenugreek seeds & fry then add sufficient water and leave it to boil & cook
3. Grind all ingredients under masala & keep
4. When methi seeds cooked & it should be soft.add the grinded mixture & add salt,jaggary & water if needed ( gravy should be not too watery or nor too thick)
5. Leave it for boiling until raw ness dissappears.
6. Finally garnish with coriender leaves
7. Serve hot with rice smearing little ghee or with chapathi as side.
