CURRY LEAVES RICE



Nowadays,i am trying different kinds of rice varieties,where as you all know we can prepare many kind of rices like lemon rice,puliyogare gojju rice,mango rice etc.,...here i tried to make karibevusoppina anna,curry leaves rice....i got this recipe from one of the blog..

Ingrediants;

Curry leaves finely cleaned upto 1 cup 

Toordal 2 tbsp
Chanadal 2 tbsp
Pepper 2 tsp
Cumin seeds 2 tsp
Coriender seeds 2 tb sp
Red chilli 4-5 or as per spicy
Oil both for frying masala & seasoining 

Oil or ghee 1 tbsp
1 tsp musrered seeds
Few curry leaves
Few cashews

Cooked rice
Salt
Pinch of sugar

Method:

1. Note: here you can make one pot cooking or in a rice cooker directly,i cooked in rice cooker directly,where firstly,i fried masalas & powered it & made seasoining in a pan and added rice & mixed & added curry leaves powder ,salt,sugar & mixed well & put into rice cooker bowl & added 2&1/2 cup of water & set into slow cook & cooked,after it has completely cooked mix it throughly once again & check the salt.serve hot with raita...

2. Cook rice and keep aside.

3. Roast all ingredients for masala by adding little oil & grind into powder when it is cool.

4. In a pan make seasoining & add rice & curry leaves powder & salt & sugar & mix well.

5. Serve with your favourite raita.
