MENTYA SOPPINA AKKI ROTTI


Mentya soppu is methi leaves or fenugreek leaves which is very healthy & you can prepare many things from this where in last post i had prepared mentya gojju here i used seeds of mentya but here i am using leaves which is very easy to prepare & tasty too.


Ingrediants;

1 cup of rice flour
1&1/2 cup of methi leaves ( no condition that it is 1&1/2 cup you can use little less or more)
Salt as needed
Coriander leaves
Green chillies finely chopped
1/2 tsp of jeera
Little ginger finely chopped or you can use paste
1/4 cup of grated coconut
Oil(hot) 2-3 tbsp

Method

Mix all ingredients in a wide bowl & add oil & mix well.

Then add water little by little & start mixing until it comes together & forms a dough form not too hard like chapathi dough it should be spreadable on tava or plate.

Now make equal size of balls & make as usual rotti .

Cook on medium flame until light brown & crisp.

Serve with any side dish.
