HEEREKAI CHUTNEY


Heerekai or ridgegourd chutney which is very easy to make and can be served with dosa,idli,chapathi or rice....

Ingrediants;
1 cup roughly chopped heerekai
1/2 cup grated coconut
Salt as per taste
1 or 2 green chillies or as per spicy
Little coriender leaves
Pinch of jaggary
Small ball of tamrind

Method;
Take all ingredients in a mixie bowl & grind into coarse paste.

In a small ladle heat ghee & add mustered seeds,jeera,red chilli & curry leaves & when it is done add this mixture to chutney.

Serve as you wish.
