BELEGALA ( dal) DOSA


Bele means dal or pulses,here i used chana dal,uraddal,toordal & greengram dal or hesarubbele & rice & poha or avalakki & little fenugreek seeds,it is tasty & crisp & healthy too.

Ingrediants;

1 cup of dosa or regular rice
1/2 cup of urad dal or uddina bele
1/4 cup of chanadal,or kadalebele
1/4 cup of toor dal or togaribele
1/4 cup of Moongdal or hesarubbele
Little less than 1/2 cup poha or avalakki
1/2 tbsp of fenugreek or mentya

Method;

1. Soak rice & all dals seperately for 4-5 hrs & first grind all dals into smooth mixture & then grind rice into smooth paste adding sufficiant water into dosa consistancy & mix everything throughly.

2. Keep for fermentation overnight.

3. Next morning add salt & little sugar & mix well.

4. Heat the griddle & spread the batter ladle full thinly & smear little oil or ghee & cover & cook until crisp.

5. Remove & serve it with any side you like.
