DODPATRE TAMBOOLI

Dodda patre are leaves which is in thick texture & with very strong aroma which can be grown in garden very easily & these leaves are having some medicinal values & this makes body cool & also good for itching from this leaves we make bondas & tambooli which is curd mixture & very easy to prepare & very healthy.

Ingrediants;

One small bunch of doddapatre leaves
1 cup little sour curds
1/4 cup of coconut
1/2 to 1 tsp jeera
4-5 black pepper or green chilli ( as per spicy)
Salt as per taste
Pinch of sugar

Seasoning;
1 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp mustered seeds
Little jeera
1 red chilli
Few curry leaves
Few coriander leaves for garnishing

Method;
1. Clean doddapatre leaves nicely becaz it will be very muddy.

2. Pat dry with kitchen towel.

3. Heat little ghee or oil & add jeera,black pepper & fry then add doddapatre leaves & fry until it shrinks little bit .

4. Then cool & grind it by addinng salt,coconut & sugar & grind into smooth texture.

5. Now tame curds in a bowl & wisk then add the grinded mixture to it & check the salt.the consistancy should not be too watery or too thick,

6. Now make seasoining & add to tambooli & garnish with coriander leaves.

7. Serve with rice .
