PEAS MASALA


Peas masala or mattur masala where peas or batani or muttur is main ingredient where it can be served with chapathi,dosa,idli,rotti any thing,here i made it as side dish for idli.navane or fox millet idli which recipe i will post later.this is very easy to prepare & tasty too.

Ingrediants;

1 cup or little more peas ( i used frozen peas)
 1 big onion
2 medium big tomatoes
1 or 2 green chilli
1 tsp chilli powder or as per spicy
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp kitchen king masala
1/2 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp ginger & garlic paste
Salt as per taste
Sugar for taste
Turmeric powder

Method;

1. Cut onion & tomatoes  roughly & keep slit green chilli & keep ready

2. Heat 1 tsp oil & add onion and fry until it changes its color & then add tomatoes,green chillies & ginger & garlic paste & fry until timato cooks & becomes soft,now cool the mixture & grind into smooth paste & keep.

3. Heat 1 tb of oil & add cumin seeds & let it splutter now add grinded masala & boil for few minutes & add all powders & salt & sugar & mix well & leave it boil until raw smell goes & nice aroma comes out.

4. Now add frozen peas or normal peas which cooked before,& mix well & boil for few more minutes & remove & garnish with coriander leaves or kasuri methi.

5. Serve with any dish .
