Papad cone chat,actually i was thinking what to do for evening for my daughter,while i was searching
blogs i got this recipe where in i made some changes & did,it came out very well & it is easy but
little tricky of making papad as cone but for little while you will be knowing how to make,there she has used masala papad here i had so i tried in that .....
Ingrediants;
5 to 10 normal papads or masala papd or plain papad
For filling:
1 carrot finely grated
1 tomato finely chopped
1 or 2 onions finely chopped
1 cucumber finely chopped
Salt as needed
Little sugar for taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp chat masala powder
Puffed rice 1 or 2 cups or as required
Lemon juice as required
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method;
1. Keep all vegitables ready ( but seperetly becaz if you mix before only it leaves water so )
2. Heat tava on medium flame & take papad & roast ,( if you are using masala papad or big size papads cut into two & roast)
3. One more thing you should move your hands quickly & roast both the sides other wise it will be hard then you cannot make cone.
4. Next after roasting it remove immediately & take on a paper towel & role it like a cone immediatly,if you are late again it becomes hard & crisp.
5. Like this make every papad as cone. & keep ready in a bowl where it will be easy to fill.
6. Now take all chopped veggies in a vessal & add other ingredients & mix well .now add puffed rice & mix immediately.
7. Fill one by one cone with the mixture & garnish with coriander leaves .
8. Serve immediately.
