Instant poha idli,nowadays people are looking easy methods of cooking like instants,you can find many instantly prepared recipes like instant rava idli,poha idli,rava dosa,ragi dosa etc.,yes for working woman,bachelors these recipes which are prepared unstantly is like gods gift 😀 but not inly working woman nowadays house wifes like me 😜 also trying these kind of recipies & this is one...same while i was browsing i got recipe & thought of trying with little changes
Ingrediants;
1 cup of idli rava
1/2 cup of thin variety of poha or avalakki
Little more than 1/2 cup of curds or butter milk ( bit of sour)
Salt as per taste
Eno fruit salt a pinch & very little more
Water as needed for batter
Method;
1. Take poha & idli rava in a bowl & add curd or butter milk & add salt & mix & leave it for 10-12 minutes.
2. Now grease idli plates & keep ready.
3. Add some water to mix & mix throughly & see there is no lumps & the batter should be like idli batter,pouring consistency,
4. Now add eno fruit salt & mix immediately & pour into idli moulds & steam for 10-15 minutes or until done.
5. Serve hot with any side.
Note;
1. In recipe which i was following soaked poha seperetly & then mixed with rava.you can do either this or like mine.
2. In recipe which i followed she added baking soda & said it is optional but here i used eno fruit salt this also works better.so you can follow any one.

No urad dal here,only idli rava & poha & no grinding also,i have mentioned thin variety of poha just soak in curds & do as we do for rava idli
