Eerulli tomato gojju or onion tomato gojju or gravy very tasty and easy to prepare and goes well with roti,chapathi poori rice etc.,
Ingrediants;
1 or two medium onion finely chopped
1 or two medium large tomatoes finely chopped
Salt as per taste
Rasam powder 1 tbsp or little more or less as per spicy
1 small lemon size jaggary or if it is too tangy you can add more
1 pinch of kasuri methi crushed finely
1 tbsp of tamrind water
Seasoning:
1 tbsp of oil
1 tsp mustered seeds
1 or two red chilli broken
Curry leaves
Coriender leaves ( optional)
Method;
1. Finely chop both onion & tomato and keep ready.
2. In a pan heat oil & make seasoning & fry then add cut onions & fry until it changes colour.
3. Now add chopped tomatoes & fry & add little water & let it cook,cook until tomato es are soft.
4. Now add tamrind water & rasam powder ( instead of plain water you can add tamrind water itself to cook tomatoes) mix well & leave it to boil until raw smell dissappears.
5. Now next you add salt & jaggary & mix well & boil for few more minutes.
6. Lastly garnish with kasuri methi or coriender leaves.
7. Serve hot.......
