BAKED NIPPATTU

Baked nippattu,nippattu is also one of the snack dish from karnataka,it is a type of snack served with tea or coffee or sent as short period snacks for kids,normally all like this,& normally we make deep fried nippattu but here when i was searching to make this i got this baking version & thought in one way it is healthy too so done,it is very tasty & easy but it takes little time to make.so why late ket us start to make this yummy nippattu.......😋


Ingrediants;

2 cups of maida
 Little less than 1/4 cup warm water
1/3 cup of oil
4 tbsp of butter( melted)
1 tsp of baking soda
1tbsp milk powder ( optional) ( i used)
4 tsp of white till seeds or sesame seeds
1 big onion finely chopped 
4-5 green chillies or more finely chopped 
1 tsp pepper powder ( optional)
Handful of coriander leaves
Few strings of curry leaves finely chopped
2 tsp of sugar
Salt as per taste.

Method;

1. Take a wide bowl & put flour & oil & butter & mix with well that it resembles like bread crumbs.& now put all ingrediants & mix well,then add little by little warm water & mix & make soft dough means pealable dough & keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes.

2. Meanwhile pre heat the oven .at 180 dig cent., for ten minutes.

3.after 10 to 15 minutes knead the dough again & make equal suze of balls & keep.

4. With chapathi roller or papad maker start to make nippattu.

5. Take one ball of dough & keep inbeteen two plastic sheet & roll with roller to medium thin disc it should not be too thick or thin.or in papad presser same way keep one ball & press into disc.like this make nippattu's and areange on greased baking tray.

6. Now bake for 15-20 minutes,inbetween 10 minutes flip the nippattu's & bake until it starts to change its colour .

7. Remove & cool & serve.
