Soutekai means cucumber majjigehuli,which is prepared by using sour curds but not too much sour curd.,normally we prepare with ash guard & boil,but here this majjige huli is raw majjige huli where no need of boiling or cooking simply grinding little same ingredients & mixing & seasoning that's it 😊 whith in no time you can prepare & serve with white rice or accompany with any other dish.
Ingredients;
2 medium size cucumbers peeled & choped finely
1/4 cup or little more curd made smooth
Salt as needed
For grinding;
1/4 cup grated coconut
2-3 green chilli
Little coriander leaves
1/2 tsp jeera
Pinch of turmeric
1 tbsp fried gram ( hurigadale)
Seasoning;
1 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp mustered seeds
Few curry leaves
2 red chilli
Method;
1. Grind all things given under grinding & keep.
2. Chop cucumber finely & take in a bowl & mix the grinded paste & mix.
3. Add curd & little water & mix & add salt & mix.
4. Now make seasoning & add it to cucumber mixture & mix well.
