Tondekai gojju or gravy,which is served with rice,chapati,dosa etc., this is healthy & tasty too,from this vegitable you can prepare curry etc., actually i know only curry & gojju from this,😉 may be other dishes are prepared by using this...
Ingredients;
1/2 kg of finely chopped tondekai
Salt as per taste
Jaggary 1 small piece
Curry leaves few
Tamarind pulp 1 tbsp or little more
For grinding;
1/4 cup grated coconut
1 tbsp fried gram dal
5-6 red chillies
1/2 tsp jeera
Little fenugreek seeds
Little mustered seeds
Seasoning;
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp mustered seeds
1-2 broken red chilli
Method;
1.cook tondekai & keep
2. Fry mustered seeds,fenugreek seeds,red chilli & jeera until nice aroma comes.
3. Grind it into smooth paste by adding coconut & fried gram .
4. Bring cooked tondekai to boil & add grinded mixture & mix well & leave it to boil for few minutes.
5. Add curry leaves,salt & jaggary & lastly tamrind water or paste & mix well & boil for few more minutes & remive from fire.
6. Make seasoning & add.
7. Serve hot.
