Flax seeds or agase beeja in kannada,i did not know about flax seeds,ya so many i don't know after started this blog i started searchingmany recipes and healthy recipes every time i started to get new new recipes both tasty & healthy like that whie i was searching for eggless baking i got to know about flax seeds which is one of the egg substitute & even searched other recipes using flax seeds....here i tried preparing chapathi including flax seeds.
Ingredients;
1 cup wheat flour
1 tb sp powdered flax seeds
Salt as required
2 tbsp curds
1/4 tsp snauf
Water as required for making dough
Method;
1. Make fine powder of flax seeds & keep.
2. In a bowl take all ingredients & mix then add little by little water & make soft dough & cover & keep it aside for 15 min or 1/2 hr ( knead the dough nicely & keep it for 1 hr or more chapathi's will be soft)
3. Make equal size of balls & roll into thin disc
4. Heat a tava & cook chaoati's both the sides until dark brown spots appeat.
5. Serve hot with any side.
