VEGGIE PULAV


                                                                      ವೆಜ್ಜಿ ಪಲಾವ್

Veggie pulao or vegetable pulao,now a days common dish in all house hold becase normally each and every one likes this dish😋 where some kids don't want to eat other vegetable dishes like sambar etc., sure will like this pulao where it is colourful & tasty & can make kids to eat veggies also .....😉 normally everyone will make in different way & this recipe i learnt from my mom & my daughter likes this type of pulao very much so i will be preparing often.

Ingredients

1 cup basmati rice
1 cup different kind of veggies

For masala
1/2 cup grated coconut ( you can add little less than 1/2 cup)
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp jeera
4-5 green chillies  ( as per spicy)
Coriander leaves
2 cloves
1" cinnamon
3-4 black pepper

For seasoning

1 tsp oil & 1 tsp ghee
Jeera
Cinnamon
Clove
Bay leaf
Cardamom

Lemon one medium size

Method
1. Cook rice & veggies & keep ready ( veggies should be little crunchy)

2. Grind all ingredients given under for masala to fine paste or little coarse.

3. In a pan heat ghee & oil & add all ingredients given under seasoning & fry then add grinded masala & fry until raw smell disappears.

4. Then add cooked veggies & mix then add salt,little sugar for taste & mix well

5. Then add cooked basmathi rice & mix until everything mix throughly.

6. Now add lemon juice & mix

7. Serve with your favourite raita.

Note;
1. You can make it as one pot meal.
