NELLIKAI RAITA


                                                                     ನೆಲ್ಲಿಕಾಯಿ ರೈತ

Nellikai means gooseberry which is tangy in taste & is very healthy now a days many dishes are prepared by this nellikai like chutney,gojju,rasam,rice & pickle etc., which are very taste.here i tried raita which is prepared by using curds as side dishe for any rice.it is very easyto prepare.

Ingredients

2-3 gooseberries deseeded
Salt
1-2 green chillies
1/4 cup of grated coconut
1 cup curd ( whipped)

Seasoning
1/2 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp mustered seeds
Curry leaves
1-2 dry red chilli broken

Method
1. Grind gooseberry,green chilli,coconut & salt by adding curds to smooth paste.& take it in abowl.if you want little more watery you can add more curds.

2. Make seasoning & add to raita & mix

3. Serve with any rice as side.
