ಹುಳಿ ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ
Huli avalakki or tangy poha or even you can call as gojjavalakki too,this is also little more like gojjavalakki & you can also call as instant gojjavalakki....😊 normally for gojjavalakki we will prepare gojju & mix with coarsly powdered poha,here no need to make any gojju ..this is very easy to prepare & tasty too,people who are hurry & bore of preparing gojju can make this instant gojjavalakki within no time...
Ingredients
1 cup thick poha /Avalakki or medium poha or avalakki
2tbsp rasam powder
Small lemon size tamarind soaked in water
1 tsp of sugar
Salt as per taste
Seasoning
1-2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustered seeds
Curry leaves
1-2 tbsp peanuts
3-4 broken dry red chillies
1/4 cup of grated dry coconut ( kobbari)
Method:
1. Grind poha to coarse powder .
2. Take a wide bowl & mix poha powder,rasam powder,salt & sugar & mix throughly then add soaked tamrind water & mix nicely until it combines properly ( u can taste & adjust the taste) ( note; don't add too much of water otherwise it becomes very mushy & lumps may formed)
3. Leave the mixture of poha covered for 15-20 minutes.
4. Now heat oil in a pan & make seasoning & add to the soaked mixture of poha & mix nicely until it is combined & lastly add grated dry coconut & mix.( here you can add little riasted till whole or powdered)
5. Serve with curds or pickle
