ALOO POHA CUTLET

Cutlet is the mixture of some veggies & some masalas,in cutlet you can make many varieties,here i have mixed both poha & aloo & made this,normally cutlets are shallow fryed,actually i had leftover poha & aloo both so i was thinking what to do,so thought to make aloo cutlet & again i thought whynot i mix both poha & aloo & make citlet so i tried it was very tasty.

Ingredients:

2 medium boiled potatoes pealed & smashed
3/4 cup to 1 cup of poha soaked & grinded to powder
Salt as per taste
Pinch of sugar
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp chat masala
1-2 tsp corn flour
Bread crumbs for coating
Coriander leaves & curry leaves few finely chopped ( optional)

Method;

1. Boil potatoes & remove the skin & smash smoothly & keep.

2. Soak poha for 5-10 minutes & remove extra water & keep aside for 1/2 hr to dry little then powder in mixie & keep.

3. Mix both potato & poha  & add other ingredients & mix well.

4. Lastly add corn flour,coriander leaves,& curry leaves & mix well and make equal balls and keep ready.

5. Now heat a flat pan or tava & sprinkle little oil & take mixture & press in between your palms & coat with bread crumbs & cook on low medium flame both the side until light golden brown & crisp outside.

6 at a time you can shallow fry 3-4 cutlets.

7. Remove & put on kitchen towel and remove extra oil.

8. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
