Prep., time 5-8 minutes
Cooking time 2-3 minutes ( 1 chapathi)
Sati chapthi or roti or pulka which has layers. Here sati means folding dough in triangle shape by applying oil on each layer & folding it is also called as triangle chapathi,i know you are thinking about oil we apply on dough,ya mmm,you are correct it is little more than regular chapathi but i think its ok once a while we can prepare & have it.& this chapathi you can carry to tour or office it will be left soft.so don't worry be happy,some times little oil is needed to our body. ;-)

Ingredients;

1 cup wheat flour
1 tbsp oil
Salt as needed
Water as needed ( mild hot @ room temp.,)

Method;

1. In a wide bowl sieve wheat flour & add oil & salt & mix well.

2. Add little by little water & knead to a soft dough,it should be soft than usual dough.

3. Cover a damp cloth & keep side for 1 hr. ( how much time you live it after making dough it is important & makes it soft dough & chapathi will be soft)

4. Make equal balls in chapathi dough,

5. Take one dough ball & dip in the dry flour,& roll to small size disc & apply little oil & sprinkle little dry flour & fold into 1/2 & again apply oil & sprinkle dry flour & fold it another 1/2 again & apply little oil both the sides of the triangle dough & same thing make with all remaining doughs & keep them covered aside fir 5-10 minutes.

6. Take one triangle dough & dip in dry flour & start to roll roll as like same as triangle,don't try to make round.roll all doughs & keep.

7. Heat a tava & cook rolled chapati both the sides by applying oil ( option) until it turns golden brown.
