OATS MURUKU



                                                                      ಓಟ್ಷ್  ಮುರುಕು
Prep time 5 minutes
Frying time 3-4 minutes
Murukku,i know you all know what it is,usually rice flour & roasted gramflour & other things mixed & this muruku is made....today i tried oats muruku by adding oats powder,it is crunchy & tasty muruku.

Ingredients;
1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup roasted gram dal ( hurigadale)
1 tbsp butter or oil ( if oil add hot oil)
Salt
1tbsp or little more red chilli powder
Til/ sesame seeds 1/4 tsp
Ajwain 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida pinch


Method;
1. Fry oats for few minutes ( dry) & grind into fine powder.

2. Grind roasted gram dal into fine powder ( you can powder both oats & roasted gram together)

3. Sieve rice flour,roasted gram flour & oats flour.

4. Then add salt,chilli powder,ajwain,hing & mix well then add butter or hot oil & mix.then add little by little water & make sift dough.

5. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. ( medium flame)

6. Take chakli presser & fill with dough & press directly to the oil & fry until crisp & golden brown.( be careful while pressing directly to oil).

7. Remove & store.

7. Serve with hot tea or coffee.
