I have posted simple ragi ladoo in previous post,today i am posting another version of this ladoo,which includes not only ragi but other healthy ingredients too,like oats,dates & honey. Which are equally very healthy like ragi means finger millet,no added sugar in this,so no worry for weight watchers also.in one way we can say energy giving ladoo.
Ingredients;
1 cup ragi or finger millet flour
1/2 cup quickly cooking oats
1/4 cup honey + 2 tbsp honey
10-15 dates ( seeds removed)
5-8 cashews
1-2 tbsp sesame seeds for coating ladoos
2-3 tbsp ghee
1 -2 cardamom pods powdered.
Method;
1. Dry roast oats & coarsely powder & keep ready.
2. In a pan add ghee & heat then roast cashews & keep aside.
3. Take dates & remove seeds & grind to smooth paste by adding milk ( very little & it is option) you keep some dates finely chopped for making ladoos.
4. In a pan heat remaining ghee & add ragi flour & roast finely that raw smell disappears & nice aroma comes out..then add powdered oats & mix ( it should be in medium flame) then add cardamom powder & mix & add dates paste & honey & mix well & remove from fire.
5. Then add finely chopped dates & cashews & mix & start to make ladoos.
6. After making all ladoos roll them in roasted sesame seeds & store in airtight container.
7. Enjoy healthy ragi,oats & dates ladoos.
