OATS SAVOURY CRACKERS

ಓಟ್ಸ್ ಸೇವೊರಿ ಕ್ರಾಕೆರ್ಸ್ 
This is biscuit made by using oats ( spicy) ,in oats you can make several dishes nowadays,it is very healthy food.it has many health benefits,like it reduces astama risk in children,it controls harmons & increases appetite,it helps to gain strength & energy,lowers cholesterol level,prevent heart failure,benefit for postmenopausal in women,stabilize blood sugar,protect against breast cancer,etc.,.
Today i am posting its version of biscuits it is tasty & healthy too,& also kids or elders may be feeling bore by eating only simple oats so this is one better to have in type of biscuits,try this....




Ingredients

½ cup rolled oats.                                         2 tbsp buttesoftened
1 - 2 cup&tbsp bread flour¾ tsp salt
1 tbsp small onion finely chopped1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp coriender leaves finely chopped¼ tsp baking soda
½ cup buttermilk



Method
Step 1Pre heat the oven for 160 dig for 5 mins

Step 2Mix oats,flour,salt& baking soda well in a bowl

Step 3In another bowl mix butter & sugar & mix until it is smooth & creamy

Step 4Mix cut onion,coriander 
leaves with the flour & incorporate every thing very well

Step 5Now mix the flour to butter mixture ( first 1/2 of the flour) & add little butter milk and mix well then add remaining flour 
& again little butter milk & mix 
well

Step 6Make it soft & stiff dough & roll it on well floured surface to 1/4 inch & put it on greased baking tray & cut into desired 
shape but not separate. But prick here& there with fork.

Step 7Keep in oven and bake for 30 mins

Step 8Remove from oven & cut 
it & keep for cool

Step 9Then store in air tight container,serve with coffee as a snack.

Step 10Notes:

Step 111. U can replace corrinder leaves with dill leaves

Step 122. If u don't have butter milk make it with curds adding water


Step 133. U can sprinkle kosher salt while serving then use less salt while mixing
Step 144. Once u take out from oven it looks white then if u brush with butter it turns to look golden brown color
Step 155. Prick the Crackers from fork here & there.
