Beetroot is very healthy vegetable,it contains carbohydrate,vitamin A,calcium,it decreases obesity,diabetes,helpful for heart diseases,controls blood pressure,it is helpful for digestion & prevent constipation,totally to say it is very healthy,to day i have tried to make its juice,you can make,salads,curries,sweets,( one of my friend shubha had posted beetroot halwa) i have not tried yet but sure i want to try...so here it is....
Ingredients
1/2. Cup chopped beetroot
Sugar as per taste or 1 tbsp
Lemon juice little.
Water 2-3 cups
Method
Firstly grind beetroot adding little water,to paste & add water ,sugar & churn until sugar dissolves ,then remove & pour to glass & add lemon juice & serve chilled by adding ice cubes.
