BOTTLE GOURD DOSA / SOREKAI DOSA

Preparation time : overnight soaking

Making time : 5 mins

Bottle gourd/sorekai is very healthy vegetable,this is also cooling agent to body,you can prepare many dishes adding this,here i have tried to prepare dosa,it came out very well,soft dosas.

Ingredients

1 cup dosa/idli/normal rice
1 cup or more bottle gourd/sorekai grated
Salt as per taste
3/4 cup grated coconut
Water as needed
Oil for smearing on dosas

Method

Soak rice overnight ( if u r making dosa in morning or soak morning to 4-5 hrs & make)
Next day grind soaked rice into smooth batter & keep
Grind grated bottle gourd with coconut to smooth 
& add to grinded rice batter & add salt & mix throughly & keep aside for 1/2 hr
The batter should be little water consistency or  like rava dosa or neer dosa batter

Heat dosa tava  & sprinkle some water on the tava to moderate the heat
Then pour the batter from up like rava dosa do not try to spread
Smear little oil & cook unti the bottom turns little brown & crisp

Enjoy the dosa with your favorite chutney,sambar,pickle any thing
