Potato sagu or bombay sagu i have posted earlier but this recipe i got from one blog bhojana recipes in different name urulai kizhangu masal named but as i know Ingrediants are same as potato sagu only difference is here for spicyness we add only green chillies & for seasoining we add urad & chanadal & musteed seeds like this slight changes but taste as i feel same as bombay agu.very tasty & easy to prepare.
Ingrediants;
3-4 medium size potatoes boiled and skin removed & coarsly smashed
2-3 medium onions chopped
2-3 tomatoes chopped
Few curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt
Sugar for taste
4-5 green chillies finely chopped
Turmeric powder
1 tsp of mustered seeds
1/2 tsp chanadal & urad dal
2 tbsp of oil
1/2 tsp of ginger paste
1 tbsp gram flour
Method;
1. Keep ready all the things.
2. Heat oil in a pan & add mustered seeds when it splutter add chanadal & urad dal & ginger paste & green chillies & curry leaves & fry.
3. Now add onions & fry until colour changes & add chopped tomatoes & fry until tomatoes are soft.
4. Add turmeric powder & salt & sugar & mix well.& add gram flour & mix.
5. Now add boiled potatoes & mix well
6. Add sufficiant water & leave it boil,for 2-3 minutes.
7. Remove & serve hot with dosa,idli or chapathi...
