KARELA NAMKEEN


Karele namkeen is one of tye tea or coffee snack which is served.karela means bitter gourd or hagalakai but here we are not preparing this snack from karela don't get confused even i 😜 ....
But it is like means the shape or design whatever,it looks like karela or bitter gourd.very easy & tasty .....

Ingrediants;

1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup maida or all purpose flour
Salt as needed
1/2 to 1 tsp of ajwain
1 tsp of pepper powder
1 tbsp of ghee or clarified butter or oil
Oil for deep frying

Method;

1. In a bowl mix everything & pour little by little water & knead in to a smooth & pealable dough & keep aside.

2. Heat oil in a pan on medium fllame.

3. Now make medium soze of balls from the dough & take one dough ball & roll into thin disc & take a medium small size of lid & cut into circles & make like these with all remaining dough,

4. Now,take a sharp knife & leaving both the edges cut into stripes ( don't cut fully) & roll from one edge to another & press both ends make all other circles like this only.

5. Now put one by one in hot oil & deep fry until crisp & golden brown.

6. Remove & store in air tight box & serve with coffee & tea as a snack.
