Bread normally prepared by using bread flour or all purpose or maida flour,but nowadays as health conscious all are preparing whole wheat bread,millets bread etc., as my personal opinion i dont like wheat bread.today i wanted to make bread where we use only maida but thought of adding fine semolina or sooji or rava & make so started ....so this was the final product...it was very soft & tasty.
Ingrediants;
1&1/2 cup of all purpose flour or maida
1 cup of fine semolina or chiroti rava
21/4 tsp of instant yeast
2 tbsp or 1 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 tbsp of butter
1/4 cup of warm milk
3/4 cup of water ( approximately)
Method;
1. In a wide bowl take all dry ingredients & mix well.
2. Add milk & start kneading & by adding little by little water knead to a sticky dough,do not add more water you will get to know while mixing.
3. Clean the kitchen top area & sprinkle little flour & put the dough & start kneading that everything incorporates nicely.knead about 10 minutes ,if you feel sticky you add little flour and continue kneading that it becomes smooth dough.
4. Grease a wide bowl with oil & smear little oil on the dough & keep in the greased bowl for raising for about 1 & 1/2 hr. Covering with cling wrap & keep it in a warm place like oven..
5. After 1 hr it will be doubled in size,remove & sprinkle some flour on working top & put the dough & punch it with your fist & remove the air inside it & start again kneading for 6-8 minutes.
6. Now grease a bread mould & roll the dough like a log & keep it in the bread pan & cover with cling wrap & keep in warm place once more for raising upto 1/2 hr to 1 hr.
7. Pre heat the oven in 180 dig. Cent., for 10-12 minutes.
8. Bake tye cake for 25 to 30 minutes or until done ,( before jeeping in the oven brush the bread with milk & keep.
9. When you tap on the bread you will hear a hallow sound then. It is done.( if the bread starts browning fast then cover it with aluminium foil & continue to bake)
10. Remove & cool & take out of the pan & keep in a air tight box.
11.
