PEARL MILLET DOSA

In dosa we have varities which now a days tried to prepare,here i tried to prepare pearl millet dosa where millets are very healthy & very easy to prepare as normal dosa & no thinking that kids will not eat because this dosa you can't guess it as millet dosa because it looks & tastes like regular dosa 😉

Ingrediants;

1 cup of dosaor idli or regular rice
1/2 cup of urad dal
1/2 cup of pearl millet
1/4 cup or little more if poha or beaten rice
1 tbsp of fenugreek seeds
Salt
Water as needed for grinding
Oil for making dosas

method;

1. Soak all ingrediants after washing throughly except salt & oil for 4-5 hrs.

2. Grind the soaked ingrediants to fine paste & batter should be regular dosa batter kind not too thick or not too watery.

3. Keep for fermenting over night.

4. Next day before making dosa add in salt & mix well if it is too thick add little water & mix & bring to right consistancy.

5. Heat tava & pour ladle full of batter & spread as thin as possible & smear little oil & cover & cook for few minutes or until dosa turns golden brown & crispy.

6. Serve hot with any side which you like.
