KADALEKAI UNDE

                                                                 ಕಡಲೆಕಾಯಿ ಉಂಡೆ

Kadalekai means peanuts,this is peanut ladoo,very tasty & healthy too.ya very tasty but preparing is little tricky,oh,don't mistake,tricky means not that difficult,but your hands should move very fast in making ladoo because the jaggary syrup which you make for making ladoos will become solid.so i told you it is tricky.ya it happened to me,actually i am preparing for first time .& exited so started to
make,but one thing i want to tell you that my mom prepare this ladoo perfect & yummy.yes you are correct,obviously,she is well experienced.& uptill now she was preparing & i was tasting & commenting that's it.😜but today I wanted to try.so i.....oh onething I forgot to tell that my mom used to make in different way,she was not rolling all ladoos on one go,she was taking syrup very little and making ladoos,here only i went wrong ,i told you i was exited & always hurry,& i wanted to complete at one go that made me misttake.i pored complete syrup & at few seconds it became hard,but still i had prepared only few ladoos 😔 so again i made jaggary syrup & completed.usappa @ last 😊
So ,now we shall see how to make,i know i am boring you,one lastthing i want to say here is  oh oh,don't worry,only one thing thatyit,here i remember one of my good friend her name is sandhya,she was telling sumathi you should be story writer..ha ha...she is also very good cook.she helped me in many ways.......hmmmm.ok let's start.

Ingredients;
1 cup peanuts roasted & outerskin removed
1/2 cup jaggary powdered
1/4 cup water for making syrup
Little ghee for making ladoos

Method;
1. Firstly,roast the peanuts until nice aroma comes out & easily peel the outer cover.& keep ready.

2. Heat jaggary with milk & make 1 thread consistency syrup ( if you drop little syrup in cold water & able to roll into ball)

3. After that keep ready roasted & outercover removed peanuts ready in a bowl,now take little peanuts in another bowl & pour little syrup & apply little ghee on your palms & immediately start
rolling ladoos ( i told you here you should be very fast) & in similar way make with remaining peanuts.

4. Store in air tight container.

5. Notes;
 a) peanuts should be well roasted & if the peanuts are very big in size then slightly make coarse powder in mixie & make ladoo.

b) as i said be little fast while making ladoos.

c) if jaggary syrup becomes lightly solid don't worry keep it again on the flame & add very little water. & make syrup again & continue.

d) if you can't roll ladoo by applying ghee on your palms then brush your palm with little rice flour & continue.

e) usually colour will be very dark brown but my ladoo is very light colour because the jaggary was very light colour.so it depends on jaggary.
