MOONG DAL ( SINDHI )

This moong dal is one of the sindhi recipe,which i got from one blog.this dal is very easy to prepare where very less ingredients are used & cooked with tomato puree.this is very light dish,it is very healthy too.in moong dal we prepare moong dal tadka ,gujrathi dal etc.moong dal is very healthy lentil which contains more more vitamins,& helps in weight loss,it improves hair & skin,controls blood pressure,sourse of iron,helpful in protecting skin cancer,etc.,so don't wait add in your diet chart from today...


Ingredients;
Moong dal 1 cup
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste
Sugar for taste
1 medium tomato pureed
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp ( optional)

Seasoning:
Ghee 1 tsp
2green chilli slitted
Ginger 1 tsp finely chopped
Jeera 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Hing a pinch

Method;

1. Cook moongdal by adding turmeric & sufficiant water until soft & mash it & keep.

2. In a mixer grind tomato into puree & keep.

3. In a pan make seasoning & add cooked dal & pureed tomato & live to boil,then add salt ,sugar & red chilli powder & live it to boil for few minutes or until fine aroma comes out,then switch off the flame.

4. Garnish with coriander lives.

5. Serve with rice,roti etc.....
