ಸೀಮೆಅಕ್ಕಿ ಉಪ್ಪಿಟ್ಟು

Khichidi or sabudana khichidi usually prepared northside more,this dish is prepared usually for people who are in upvas but now it is prepared all time as break fast or for dinner,tipically this is prepared by adding roasted peanuts powder & cooked aloo or potato,( may be some other variations) usually, i prepare as my daughter likes i prepare as usual like lemon rice & i have prepared by adding potato also but here today i have have skipped potato & only added roasted peanuts.
Ingredients;
1 cup soaked sabudana or seemeakki or topiyoca
1/4 cup peanuts roasted & grounded coarsly
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
Salt
Sugar for taste
1-2 green chillies
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp jeera
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Method;
1. Soak sabudana for 1 hr by adding sufficient water until soft & drain excess water .
2. Dry roast peanuts & grind coarsly & keep.
3. Heat oil in a pan & jeera whaen it splutters add green chilli & curry leaves & fry .
4. Then add soaked sabudana & mix then add powdered peanuts,salt,little sugar & chilli powder &
mix well.
5. Remove & add lemon juice & mix & garnish with coriander leaves
5. Serve.
