COOKED RICE ROTTI


                                                         ಅನ್ನದ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ
Prep.,time 10 minutes
Cooking time 2-3 minutes ( one rotti)
Cooked rice akki rotti,usually we prepare normal akki rotti or riceflour rotti,famous in karnataka,but here i have prepared by using remaining cooked rice & rice flour.may be you know how to prepare,usually,sometime whenever we cook rice in night or any time,sometimes we prepare more & some quantity remains,but we don't want to throw it,so instead of throwing or preparing same chitranna this is one way .store it in fridge & remove next day morning 1/2 hr before & use..this rotti is very easy to prepare & very tasty too,method of preparing is asusual like akki rotti...

Ingredients:

1 cup rice flour
2 cups cooked rice ( smash in mixie & keep,when you smash it becomes one cup)
Salt
4-5 finely chopped green chillies
Curry leaves finely chopped
Coriander leaves finely chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2tsp grated ginger ( if you want more flavour you can add little more)
1tsp lemon juice.( optional)
1 tbsp hot oil


Method

1. In a wide bowl take rice flour & smashed cooked rice & add salt & other things given & mix,then add hot oil & mix ,gradually add water little by little & mix & make into soft & spreadable dough.keep aside for 1/2 hr closed.

2. Take a tava or pan or backside of a plate ( if using back side of plate put upside diwn on hot tava & cook,,when once done  lift the plate the rotti will automatically falls down & cook both the side)
Grease & take a medium size of ball of dough & spread over & cook on medium flame both the sides.

3. Remove & serve hot with chutney or any otger gravy you like.
